Academic Affairs (Registry) was the first division to be established when the University started its operation in January 2008. There are two main departments operating under the Division which are the Admission and Records Department and the Assessment Department.

Academic Affairs is responsible to manage all matters pertaining to admission of new students, re-registration of returning students, subject registration, student records, open entry assessment and final examination. The Assessment Department is also responsible in processing the marks of continuos assessments although the schools manage the delivery of the assessments.

Besides the mentioned responsibilities, Academic Affairs liaises with MOHE, MQA and other local authorities in ensuring the University is complying with the set regulations and standards of academic programme delivery especially as documented in the COPIA and COPPA.

Currently Academic Affairs is also managing the PTPTN's loan applications of undergraduate students.
