Welcome to the School of Education and Cognitive Science (SECS) of AeU which is firmly grounded in the values of scholarship, quality, integrity, diversity, and equality. We offer both undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in education. Undergraduate programmes offered prepare students with relevant theory and practice to function in a global society and teach effectively in culturally and socially diverse classrooms. Graduate programmes offered provide opportunities for advanced study and research towards the development of innovative responses to the challenges of 21st century education.

The masters and doctoral programmes offer specialisations in instructional technology, educational psychology, nursing education, teaching English as a second language, early childhood education, science education, educational management, higher education teaching, educational assessment, language & literacy, curriculum and instruction.

We aspire to engage in research activities that connect theory to practice and to be a leading voice in the Asian region contributing towards thoughtful discussion on the role of education in society and to help frame policy objectives that best serve the goals of member countries.
