The information on this page gives an overview of the general entry requirements for all our programmes, from Foundation Studies to Doctorate Programmes. To be admitted into the Foundation Studies, a person must possess:

• SPM/O Level or equivalent with minimum 5 credits.

To be admitted into a Bachelor programme, a person must possess:

• Diploma with minimum CGPA 2.00; or
• Foundation/Preparatory with minimum CGPA 2.00; or
• International Baccalaureate with minimum 24 points; or
• STPM/A Level or equivalent with at least C grade in 2 subjects; or
• SPM or equivalent with minimum 3 years working experience in related area; or
• Open entry requirement* that has been recognised by Ministry of Higher Education Malaysia (MOHE); or
• Any equivalent qualification recognised by AeU Senate such as Executive Courses under School of Professional and Executive Education (SPEED).

To be admitted into a Master programmme, a person must possess:

• Bachelor in relevant field or other field recognised by AeU Senate; or
• Open entry requirement* that has been recognised by Ministry of Higher Education Malaysia (MOHE); or
• Any equivalent qualification recognised by AeU Senate such as Executive Courses under School of Professional and Executive Education (SPEED).

To be admitted into a Doctorate programme, a person must possess;

• Master in relevant field or other field recognised by AeU Senate; or
• Any equivalent qualification recognised by AeU Senate.
• The Senate may permit, on the recommendation of the appropriate Dean, an applicant to be admitted although the applicant has not attained the entry requirement specified in the above.

To be admitted for the first time to AeU, a person must submit all relevant documents including evidence of citizenship/nationality, certified copies of relevant qualifications and employment statement (if applicable).
