Financial Incentives

Please note that the Management of Asia e University (AeU) has the right to review and amend the criterias and policies of the following incentives and discounts from time to time.

Institutional Incentive

  • Institution must have an MOU with AeU.
  • 15% discount on total Tuition Fee will be deducted by semester, modular or yearly basis depending on the programme mode.
  • The institution needs to register a minimum of 3 staff a semester or module to receive this incentive.
  • Fees can be paid either by the student or the institution.
  • Other incentives/discounts will not be applicable.

Loyalty Incentive

  • Discount of 10% of Tuition Fee/Research Fee will be given to students who enrol for a new academic programme upon completion of his/her previous academic programme.
  • The incentive will be deducted by semester, modular or yearly basis depending on the programme mode.
  • Other incentives/discounts will not be applicable.

Full Settlement Incentive

  • For Semester Based Programmes (Tri-Semester Programmes), a 10% incentive / discount on Tuition Fee will be granted if full payment of semester fee is made on or before Week 3 of the semester.
  • For Module Based Programmes, a 10% incentive / discount on Tuition Fee will be granted if full payment of module fee is made on or before Week 2 of the module.
  • This incentive is not applicable for Research Based Programmes.
  • This incentive is not applicable for non-Malaysian students.
  • Not applicable for research programmes and executive programmes as well as short courses.
  • Not applicable for non-Malaysian students after Sept 2011 intake.
  • No outstanding fee from previous semester/module.

Physical Disability Incentive

  • Eligible to applicants who is physically disabled and registered with the Social Welfare Department of Malaysia.
  • A 75% discount on total Tuition Fee by semester, modular or yearly basis depending on the programme mode.
  • Other incentives/discounts will not be applicable.

National Higher Education Fund (PTPTN)

Criteria

  • Applicable to Malaysian citizen.
  • Applicant’s age must be less than 45 years old at the time of application.
  • Possess a minimum of PMR/SRP/LCE or it equivalent
  • Applicant has registered for the undergraduate programme at AeU. 

How to Apply?

  • Purchase a pin number (RM5) at any Bank Simpanan Nasional (BSN) branch. The pin is a password for student to apply via online and the number is valid for six months from date of purchase.
  • Open a savings account at CIMB Bank.
  • Apply online.
  • Please refer to the following schedule for application deadlines. Loan processing and disbursement are based on two semester system although AeU adopts trimester academic system.
Note:
  • Starting 1st January 2012, it is COMPULSORY for student who wish to apply for PTPTN loan, to have a Skim Simpanan Pendidikan Nasional (SSPN) account with minimum deposit of RM20.00. This scheme is open to all Malaysians and student may open an SSPN account at any Maybank branches.
  • Once your application has been approved, kindly submit the loan agreement with two(2) 'Stem Hasil' or RM10 each and required documents to the Learner Services Centre (LSC), Asia e University, Ground Floor, Main Block, No. 4 Jalan Sultan Sulaiman, 50000 Kuala Lumpur. For further inquiries, kindly contact LSC at 1300 300 238.
  • Witness signatories of the loan agreement muts be from government officer division A and above.

EPF Education Withdrawal Scheme

The withdrawal allows you to withdraw your savings from Account 2 to finance your education. You are eligible to apply if you fulfill the following requirements:

  • A Malaysian citizen or
  • A Permanent Residence or
  • A Non-Malaysian citizen (Expatriate) who became a member of the EPF before 1st August 1998.
  • You may apply for this withdrawal scheme to cover the programme fees for every semester or one academic year (one time withdrawal in an academic year).
  • Persuing studies for Diploma level and above.

Human Resource Development Fund (HRDF)

HRDF is a pool of funds that comprise of Human Resource Development levies collected from employers in Malaysia. The establishment is part of the Malaysian government's initiative to encourage the private sector employers to retain and upgrade the skills and knowledge of their employees to be in line with the needs of their business.
 
  • Students are required to seek advice and approval from their employer to be eligible to apply for the grants.
  • Applicable to Malaysian citizen.
  • Applicant’s age must be less than 45 years old at the time of application.
  • Applicants must obtain 3 credits including Bahasa Malaysia at Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM).
  • Applicant has registered for the undergraduate programme at AeU.
