Human Resource Management Department at AeU develops, maintains, and continuously improves policies, processes, and systems to support a dynamic workforce and the delivery of services. HRM acts as a referral point for information and resources for all staff in AeU.

Our goal is to provide the AeU staff community with support, education and service in the areas of recruitment, professional development, benefits, total compensation and lifestyles. We offer the necessary tools to align yourself with the University's mission, vision and values and to help you achieve your personal and professional goals.

Goals:


  • To support the goals and challenges of AeU by providing services, which promote a work environment that is characterized by fair treatment of staff, personal accountability, trust and mutual respect.
  • Providing support and guidance to all staff in employee relations, benefits and compensation programs, recruitment as well as training and development.
  • Providing the “Work Experience” that includes the less tangible elements such as acknowledgment, recognition, balance work/life, culture, development and environment.
  • Promote and support recruiting strategies and collaborate with schools/departments to create a high performing, diverse workforce.
  • Respond to the needs of the staff and management in a helpful, supportive, and pro-active manner and provide quality services on which AeU can rely.
  • Initiate policy reviews and respond appropriately, creatively, effectively and timely with policy and procedure changes.
  • Develop staff excellence through training and consultation to encourage growth and opportunity
  • Fosters good, open communication and an overall positive work environment for all staff.
  • Equitably and fairly administer HR policies, procedures, and benefits.

AeU staff is our most important asset. While the collective efforts of staff are central to any organization in achieving and fulfilling its mission, this is particularly the case in AeU, where our success is wholly dependant upon the talent, commitment and dedication of our staff.

The team at AeU is dedicated, hardworking and most of all have fun working together. I am proud that the HRM Team plays an integral part in hiring the right people and helps to develop effective training programmes for our staff. The university also emphasizes on creating an environment of empowerment and accountability.
