Normal Entry

Malaysian Students:

  • A pass in Matriculation or Foundation studies with minimum CGPA of 2.00 and a credit in Mathematics at SPM Level or its equivalent; OR 
  • A pass in STPM/A-level with a minimum Grade C (GP 2.00) in any 2 subjects and a credit in Mathematics at SPM/OLevel or its equivalent; or K-12 with at least C grade in 3 subjects and a credit in Mathematics at O-Level; OR
  • A Pass in STAM with minimum grade of Jayyid and credits in Mathematics at SPM Level; OR
  • A Diploma in Computer Science or Software Engineering or Information Technology or Information Systems or equivalent with a minimum CGPA of 2.50 and a credit in Mathematics at SPM Level or its equivalent; OR
  • Any other Diploma in Science and technology or business studies with a minimum CGPA of 2.50 may be admitted subject to a rigorous internal assessment process and a credit in Mathematics at SPM level or its equivalent. 

International Students:

  • A recognised university entrance qualification such as ‘A’ level /University Foundation/Matriculation/Diploma or equivalent
  • English skills equivalent to International English Language Testing System (IELTS) 5.5 or Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) 550 or any equivalent tests approved by the AeU Senate.Those who have their tertiary education in English shall be exempted from the above requirement

Alternative Entry

Accreditation of Prior Experiential Learning (APEL) Entry Requirements:

  • 21 years of age as of 1st January in the year of application;
  • Possess relevant work experience; and
  • Passed an APEL assessment
